DIY weddings are becoming more and more popular in Northeast Ohio as we navigate through the realities of COVID-19. After 7 years in the industry, I have complied a few tips that will help you on the wedding planning process when it comes to renting tents, tables, chairs, etc.

- Schedule a site measurement for the desired tent placement to ensure the tent will fit in the spot you prefer. It would be such a bummer for day of set up to find out the tent will not fit in your space. Here at Dependable Tents, we offer free measurement with every tent rental.

- Keep in mind that for weddings, there will be a few times where all of your guests are seated at once, rent enough chairs for all of your guests. It’s better to have an excess then not enough chairs.

- Rent extra tables as well. You will need a few extra tables for food and drinks, a few tables for gifts and more miscellaneous things. Add 4-6 tables to your order.

- Weddings usually go off into the night so make sure you rent lights for your tent rental. Once the sun goes down you’re going to need something under the tent to light up the party. We offer lights for all tent sizes!

- Sidewalls for rain or cold weather! You’ve already went the extra mile and rented a tent, get full use from it and add side walls! Sidewalls will protect your wedding guests for rain, light wind, heat and more! Sidewalls are most popular for fall weddings but are also popular in the summer to block the rain.

- Make sure your event rental company sets up 1-2 days before the event. At dependable Tents we set up your equipment 24-48 hours prior to the event to ensure satisfaction and a time-cushion in case of an emergency on set up.

- Table linen rentals are a huge deal when it comes to a DIY weddings. Table linens add a touch of class to your wedding. We have over 7 colors available.

- White chairs Vs black chairs. White chairs are more formal for wedding rentals. We recommend renting our white chairs when it comes to wedding rentals. Also our 60” round tables are our most popular table for weddings.

- Most of the time we pick up 1-3 days after the event. Coordinate with your event planner if you will be out of town for pick up of the event rental items.
